Background: In an attempt to preserve lives, critical care nurses have concentrated on bringing physiological and hemodynamic equilibrium back for individuals in critical care.  To achieve these objectives, these patients frequently require prolonged immobilization, artificial breathing, and sedation.
Objectives: The objectives of this research is to assessing the knowledge of nurses of earlier patient’ mobility in critical care facilities.  determining the relation between the research sample's demographics and nurses' knowledge.
Methods:   A cross sectional research approach chosen to conduct the focused assessment of Nurses' knowledge about early mobilization in Critical Care Units, A non-probability convenience sampling approach that recruited 93 nurses in intensive care units in Al-Hilla City teaching hospitals( Al-Imam Al-Sadiq and Al-Hilla Teaching Hospitals). from the period between (1-12- 2023 to 1- 4  - 2024).
Results: The result of the study show that Just under fifty percent of nurses (48.4%) had inadequate knowledge about patients’ early mobilization in critical care units at Al-Hillah Teaching Hospitals.
Conclusions: The present study showed that nearly fifty percent of nurses have inadequate understanding about patients’ early mobilization in critical care units.
